Hauch Physiske Cabinet offers a unique collection of physical and chemical equipment,

gathered in the period 1790-1815 by Lord Chamberlain Adam Wilhelm Hauch. Later,

these instruments were bought by King Frederik VI and donated to Sorø Academy.

Today we can admire these beautiful processed instruments molded in brass, mahogany, glass and ivory.

The new arrangement in specially designed exhibition cases with a unique lighting supplemented by wall

sheets with beautiful graphics is an experience itself, but it also tells the story of natural science entry into Denmark.
